In phase two of removal wave 28, East District ran two campaigns that removed 24 unlawful structures, including hangars, illegal upper floors and walls caught early, in Ezbet El Mowazafin, El Omaliya, Khourshid and Abis, over more than 6,900 square metres, with an early removal at the Nasser project in Abis 2.
Four hangars were also removed on Timour Street behind the kidney hospital, of 500, 400, 750 and 600 square metres. The governorate reminded residents not to start any building before obtaining a licence.
