671 tonnes of waste cleared from the district’s streets

The district’s teams cleared 671 tonnes of rubbish, solid waste and demolition debris, with the environmental monitoring and cleaning departments and heavy equipment.

The work covered Abdel Salam Aref Street in Gleem, Saba Pasha, Moustafa Kamel, Syria, El Moaskar El Romani and El Iqbal streets and the Shaarawi level crossing, then Sidi Gaber, Zaki Ragab Street in Smouha, Wingate, Ahmed Shawki, Ibn Monqez, Mohamed Naguib and El Galaa streets and El Zahiriya. Eng. Engy Mohamed Fathy, head of East District, said the campaigns run daily on a schedule that covers every part of the district.
