Dangerous parts removed from three buildings under court rulings

Among them a building on Ibn Tulun Street and one on Masjid El Marwa Street in El Horreya, and the district urged owners to carry out repair and demolition orders.

Eng. Engy Fathy, head of East District, followed the work of the unsafe buildings department with Hossam Wagih, the district’s secretary-general: the parts in imminent danger of falling were removed from three buildings under court rulings, among them No. 16 Ibn Tulun Street and No. 35 Masjid El Marwa Street in the El Horreya shiakha, off Port Said and Ahmed Abu Soliman streets.

The district urged owners to carry out the repair and demolition orders of the unsafe buildings committee promptly, once they have the necessary permits. An evening campaign also closed three shops in breach of the rules, on Samir Zadah Street off Syria Street, in Rushdy and on Abdel Salam Aref Street in Bulkeley.
