Eng. Engy Mohamed Fathy, head of East District, led a campaign on Fawzi Moaz and Albert I streets in Smouha, with Hossam Wagih, the district’s secretary-general, and the head of the East utilities police, following the instructions of Lt. Gen. Ahmed Khaled Hassan Saeed, Governor of Alexandria.
It seized 52 occupancies, collected EGP 360,000 in on-the-spot fines, sealed two shops and issued 6 reports against shops trading without a licence, along with reports and warnings from the environment, labour, occupational safety, East supply and consumer protection offices; 10 kg of food unfit to eat were destroyed.
