Over two weeks, the roads and transport directorate paved and repaired 40 streets and sites in several of Alexandria’s districts, following the call of Eng. Ayman Atia, Governor of Alexandria, to improve the road network.
In East District the work covered El Ashry Street and its side streets in El Mahmoudiya, Shods Street, El Horreya Road in Sidi Gaber with pothole repairs, El Qawmiya El Arabiya Street in Bakos, the Gleem stretch of the Corniche with pothole repairs, and interlock paving on the island at the U-turn outside El Andalusia Hospital on El Horreya Road.
