East District ran a campaign against occupancy and encroachments that cleared 780 obstructions, including concrete and iron blocks and tyres that blocked people and cars, on Victor Emmanuel, Ismail Serry and Kamal El Din Salah streets and around the health insurance building in Smouha.
Eng. Engy Mohamed Fathy, head of East District, said the campaigns run daily, and the district asked shop owners to respect the occupancy rules and regularise their situation.
