East District, with the utilities police, ran a campaign against street occupancy on Moustafa Kamel Street and Mahattet El Souq in Bakos, El Tayar Ahmed Saoud Street in Wingate and Aziz Fahmy Street in Zananiri.
It seized 76 street occupancies and 60 pieces of abandoned junk, sealed two shops in breach of the rules, and impounded a tricycle used for sorting rubbish.
