Eng. Ayman Atia, Governor of Alexandria, toured on the first day of Ramadan to check traffic and the prices of staple goods in the markets, with the head of East District.
He met residents who complained that some prices varied widely, and asked the head of East District and the agencies concerned to step up market inspections, make sure prices are marked on goods and respected by traders, and take legal action against offenders.
