Eng. Engy Mohamed Fathy, head of East District, followed a family-planning campaign from 10 to 14 May 2026, run by the district’s public relations office and the family-planning department of the East health zone, in Ezbet Sakina outside Qubaa Mosque on Street 14.
Kidney, blood pressure and sugar checks were done for 20 people, early women’s health checks for 17 and early cancer screening for 7, with ultrasound and family-planning services, and talks by the water and sewerage companies.
In the same days, cleaning campaigns with the Nahdet Misr company cleared about 887 tonnes of waste in Smouha and Ezbet Saad, and an occupancy campaign seized 95 items behind Sidi Gaber, on Edmond Fremont Street and in Ezbet Saad.
