Eng. Engy Mohamed Fathy, head of East District, chaired the executive council at the district headquarters, with department heads and representatives of the executive bodies and utilities, following the instructions of Lt. Gen. Ahmed Khaled Hassan Saeed, Governor of Alexandria.
The sewerage representative presented the winter preparations and the plan to clear storm drains during storms at Kobri El Namous, Mazloum Square, El Iqbal, Abis 2 and Rabaa El Nasriya, and the building of 12 new drains on El Tayar Ahmed Saoud Street at Zaarbana market. The agrarian reform representative reported on encroachments on farmland and the need to act before building starts.
The meeting also discussed the supply directorate’s plan for Ramadan, health awareness in schools and literacy classes, and stressed restoring streets after any works and coordinating between agencies before utility works.
