East District, with the cleaning company, cleared about 869 tonnes of waste and dust, including pumping rainwater from Ahmed Abu Soliman Street, removing the Abu Sarha skip on Mohamed Naguib Street and clearing waste from the El Zawayda market area.
The work also swept El Galaa and Ibn Monqez streets and cleaned Moustafa Kamel, Syria, Abdel Salam Aref and Hagar El Nawatiya streets and El Horreya Road. Eng. Engy Mohamed Fathy, head of East District, said the campaigns are daily.
