East District, with the cleaning company, cleared 674 tonnes of household rubbish, demolition debris and dust, including 30 tonnes of waste from the El Zahiriya metro line.
The work covered El Tayar Ahmed Saoud Street, Zaarbana market, Moustafa Kamel, Syria, El Moaskar El Romani and El Iqbal streets, the Ghobrial level crossing, and El Teraa El Mardouma, Shebl El Basyouni, El Aqaba, Cleopatra and Port Said streets. Eng. Engy Mohamed Fathy, head of East District, said the campaigns continue daily with the Nahdet Misr company.
